Hailing from Leeds in the North East of England, Jack is quickly building a reputation as a dynamic, exciting saxophone player. Effortlessly  blending remarkable technique with emotive language, Pearce possesses  a unique and distinctive voice. With extensive experience across various musical genres, Jack looks just at home on stage playing Rock and Roll as he does jazz.

Drawing heavily on the influence of hard and post-bop players, while also infused with a strong sense of the rock music he grew up on, Jack effortlessly blends genres, creating a unique style that escapes the confines of conventional jazz. The Jack Pearce Quintet represents Jack's latest venture in music, showcasing his original compositions that pay homage to jazz traditions while injecting a fresh, inventive spirit. A band of Leeds Conservatoire Alumni, the Jack Pearce Quintet focuses on a fusion of melodic and technical excellence. Drawing influence from Post-bop and 90s New York Swing, the original compositions have a uniquely open and interactive approach. The bands strength is particularly apparent in a live setting where countless hours have been dedicated to every facet of the music, then refined on the stage, culminating in an exciting musical experience.
