It only happens if enough people show.

Kickstarter for a night out. Here's the whole thing, screen by screen — reserve with a hold, not a charge; the bar climbs; and it confirms only if the goal is met.

The pitch

1

Back it — nothing's charged yet

Some nights only happen if enough people commit. The event shows how close it is, and an amber note is clear: your card is authorized, not charged, until the goal is met.

Reserve your spot

2

Authorize, don't pay

Checkout places an authorization hold — not a charge. A plain-language box explains exactly what that means and links to the full how-it-works.

You're in

3

Reserved — not charged

“You're on the list!” Your spot is held. You'll only ever be charged if the event reaches its goal by the deadline.

Social proof

4

The bar climbs

Every reservation moves the bar. “Almost there — just a few more needed,” the crew already committed, and a one-tap Share to help it get over the line.

Deadline

5

It's on — or nobody pays

Goal met: the holds convert to charges and the event confirms. Goal missed: every hold releases automatically and nobody pays a cent. Two clean outcomes, no refunds to chase.

On iOS

6

Reserve without leaving the app

A native Reserve button that authorizes in-app — no hop out to the browser — with the same progress bar the web shows.

Proposed — iOS routes checkout to the browser today; only the organizer-side progress bar ships natively.
