The thesis is that Facebook collapsed five intents into one meaningless "Going," so Wombie unbundles the RSVP into a ladder. This walkthrough is honest about where we've partly rebuilt the confusion — Today (verified current behavior) beside the ladder (the fix). Every fix frame is tagged shipped / decided / proposed: approving a frame is approving the direction, not shipping the fix.

DecidedDecided: #5670 ladder mapping
The go-CTA is "Register" on iOS, "RSVP" / "I'm in" on web, GOING in the API, "Going" in lists — one action wearing five labels. The ladder collapses them to a single vocabulary.

ProposedProposed: unify Save vocabulary
One saved state renders as "Saved" on the event page, "Interested" on the dashboard, and "Pending" in the iOS filter. One save should read the same everywhere.

ProposedProposed: iOS Accept / Decline + stop the row-delete
iOS maps an unanswered invitation straight onto Interested, so an invited user is shown a state they never chose — and tapping it again deletes the invitation outright. Invited deserves its own Accept / Decline.

ProposedProposed: re-engagement loop; back or cut the tickets promise
Interested gets no chat, no reminders, no rally push — and "we'll notify you when tickets go on sale" has no sender behind it. A re-engagement nudge turns interest into a plan.

DecidedDecided: the bridge to build (/showing-up)
Save and Plan with Friends sit as two unconnected buttons, though /showing-up promises "one tap turns a save into who's-in." The ladder sprouts that bridge on the saved row. Where Save happens (Discover → Save → Going ③) →Where who's-in happens (Plan with Friends ①) →

ProposedWeb shipped (#5686) · iOS RevealGate proposed via GraphQL
Web already gates counts through RevealGate (tease under 3, reveal at 3) — the #5686 honesty fix. iOS still shows raw counts; sharing the same gate makes every surface tell one truth.
